Sign Up for & Update Infinite Campus Messenger

Infinite Campus Messenger does not send notifications regarding activities or athletics, even weather-related ones. You must sign up for Bound to receive those notifications.

What is Infinite Campus Messenger?

Infinite Campus Messenger sends notifications to parents/guardians and students, including:

• Emergency and weather-related alerts. 
• Attendance and behavior notifications*
• Grade and assignment updates*

* Not all grades/buildings utilize this category of notifications.  

Who Can Get Notifications

To receive Infinite Campus Messenger notifications, you must:

• Have at least one student actively enrolled in the district.
• Be a legal guardian of that student.
• Have an Infinite Campus Portal account.
   
  • If you have multiple students, they will all appear under the same account.
     
  • If you already have an account but cannot remember your username or password, please use the "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password" options on the portal login page.
     
  • If you do not already have an account, please complete the Infinite Campus Parent Portal account request form.

We also use our website, mobile app, and social media to send weather notifications. If you are ineligible for Infinite Campus Messenger, please use those outlets. 

Available Channels

Infinite Campus Messenger uses multiple channels to send notifications. The channels are:

• Email
• Phone 
• SMS (text message)
• Parent Portal inbox

How to Sign Up

• Log in to the Infinite Campus Portal.  
   
• At the top right-hand side, click the person icon and then click Settings.

• On the Settings page, click Contact Preferences.

• Verify/update/enter your contact information on the Contact Preferences page.
   
• Scroll down the page to the Message Preferences section.
   
• Use the checkboxes to select the notification types you want and how to receive them (see descriptions below). 
• Please note that there is a separate tab for phone and a separate tab for email.

• Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
   

Notification Types

Emergency: emergency and weather-related information. 

Priority: not used.

General: general information.

Attendance: information regarding your student's attendance.

Behavior: information regarding your student's behavior.

Teacher: information from a teacher such as missing assignments and failing grades.

Food Service: not used.
